The project's beginning

I was a teacher in the secondary school Mathias Grunewald in Guebwiller in Alsace (France) during 7 years. I taught mathematics and was also involved in the managment of the school's network. With this second office I could meet teachers teaching other subjects. This is the reason why you can find in the teacher's toolbox softwares for subjects such as languages, history, sciences, ... At the beginning, the CDROM was for my colleagues because quite a few of them often asked me for advices and softwares. One thing leading to another, it is now available for everybody on Internet ...

Since september 2002, I don't teach anymore. I work part time for the IUFM (french highschool where teachers learn their job). I teach how to use ICT in education. That's why I created trainings on my web site..

The rest of my time is dedicated to the "Mission TICE". It's a small group who works on ICT projects for teachers. For example I am interested in free softwares, particularly in education. This is why I created my blog about free softwares.

As for the PHP scripts you can find on this web site, they have nothing to do with my job. I develop only for pleasure :-).

The translation

It is a person from Brazil, Daniel Capelo, who is at the origin of the beginning of the translation, in 2007. He wanted to adapt the project to his country and I began the modifications of the pages so they could be translated.
